The Egyptians endured some positive outcomes due to the overtaking of their country by the British. They built more railroads and steam engines. This helped in improving overall travel time, and ensuring better trading services from one country to the next. As more railroads were made, trading became more easily accessible. More people traded via the railroad system, and thus, positively affected the recognition of Egypt fine resources, which were Cotton and Oil. Not only did the railroad affect other country outlooks, but the Suez Canal caught the eye of many traders who wanted to trade with Egypt. The Suez Canal proved to be a faster way of traveling by water, and cut travel time by 5000 miles. Although the British were in control of theses processes in Egypt, Egypt was thus recognized as a very stable country.
